Job summary

Compass Community is recruiting a Residential Home Finding Officer in Birmingham. You will manage referrals from enquiry to outcome and coordinate information to match children with suitable homes, working closely with commissioners and internal teams.

The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and experience in children’s services or social care settings. You will contribute to a child-centred service and support admissions and transitions within our residential

Qualifications

Experience within children’s residential care, fostering, social care, admissions or a home finding environment.
Experience managing referrals or coordinating processes from enquiry to outcome.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders and building effective relationships.
Experience using CRM, database or case management systems.
Strong administration and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Managing referrals from receipt through to outcome.
Coordinating discussions between operational teams to assess referrals and vacancies.
Maintaining accurate records across CRM and internal systems and supporting reporting.
Building positive relationships with Local Authorities and commissioners and acting as a professional ambassador for Compass Community.
