Job summary
Compass Community is seeking an Assistant Director to provide senior operational and strategic leadership across a portfolio of children’s homes in the South region. You will work with Regional Operations Managers and Registered Managers to deliver safe, nurturing care and drive performance, occupancy, safeguarding, budget, and Ofsted outcomes.
You will chair meetings, oversee serious incidents and assist with new home mobilisation while partnering with Quality & Safeguarding, Therapeutic
Qualifications
- Leadership and strategic oversight experience in children’s services.
- Proven ability to manage multi-site operations and staff.
- Experience improving Ofsted outcomes and safeguarding processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational oversight across multiple regions and homes.
- Line manage Regional Operations Managers and develop Registered Managers.
- Lead performance against KPIs including occupancy, safeguarding, budgeting and placement stability.
- Oversee serious incidents, investigations and disciplinary matters.
- Collaborate with Quality & Safeguarding, Therapeutic Services, Home Finding and People teams.
- Contribute to strategic projects and risk-management activities.
