Britt Medical seeks a full-time BE/BC Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in northern New England. The role focuses on comprehensive psychiatric care for children and adolescents, including assessments, diagnoses, medications, and family involvement.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, ordering tests, formulating care plans, prescribing medications or therapies, collaborating with primary care and specialists, documenting thoroughly, and delivering 36 hours of direct

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Residency trained in pediatric psychiatry.
• Experience delivering mental health care to children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric-mental health care for children and youth, including assessments, diagnoses, and medications.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and formulate care plans.
• Prescribe medications or non-pharmacological treatments and monitor effects.
• Collaborate with families, primary care providers, and other health professionals.
• Document thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records.
