Job summary

BILH is seeking a Pediatric Psychiatrist to join an embedded, multi-disciplinary primary care team in Exeter, NH. The role combines direct clinical care in outpatient settings with Collaborative Care Management responsibilities.

You will collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, care managers and behavioral health clinicians to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and support weekly CoCM caseload discussions.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certification or eligibility in pediatric psychiatry.
• Experience with Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) or liaison psychiatry.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and to work across outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for pediatric patients (0-22).
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents with complex psychiatric conditions.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications.
• Provide weekly Collaborative Care Management caseload consultation to behavioral health care managers.
• Provide telephonic or electronic case consultation with primary care providers on patient care plans and treatment decisions.
