Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry for an NHS client in Bristol, Gloucestershire. You will provide clinical leadership, assess, diagnose and treat children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to safeguarding and care planning.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise is essential.
• Inclusion on the Specialist Register for CAMHS is required.
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status are desirable.
• Extensive experience in CAMHS or child and adolescent mental health services.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication, clinical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and psychiatric expertise in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to care planning and safeguarding procedures.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, you will provide clinical leadership and psychiatric expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents with a range of mental health conditions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to care planning and safeguarding procedures, supervise junior medical staff, and support service development.
