Job summary

Early Break in Bury is seeking a qualified counsellor to provide care for children and young people with emotional health needs. You will deliver evidence-based counselling and contribute to recovery-focused outcomes.

You will undertake assessments, work within a coproduced care plan, attend multi-agency and safeguarding reviews, and support the voices of young people and families in service development. Role involves delivering group work, reporting, and ongoing professional development within

Qualifications

• Formal counselling qualifications and registration advised.
• Experience supporting children and young people with emotional health needs.
• Understanding of safeguarding and multi-agency working.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal counselling to children and young people with mental health needs.
• Undertake assessments considering developmental and trauma factors.
• Work within a coproduced care plan focused on recovery and safety.
• Attend multi-agency and safeguarding meetings as required.
• Deliver educational sessions and group work in schools or community.
• Maintain confidential records and contribute to monitoring/reports.
