Precision People seeks an Engineering Operations Director based in the Nottingham/Derby area to lead three sites and drive uptime, throughput and efficiency through data-driven improvements.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent), a Mechanical/Production/Process engineering background, and a proven track record in senior management within industrial settings. A base salary of £140,000 with up to 25% bonus, fuel card and pension is offered.

• Experience in production engineering environments with high volumes of material.
• Strong background using data to improve plant uptime, throughput and efficiency.
• Senior management experience in industrial or process environments.

Responsibilities

• Maximise plant performance and availability across three sites.
• Lead Site Managers and collaborate with production, maintenance and engineering teams.
• Translate improvements into better financial performance and reduce cost per tonne.
• Drive maintenance strategy to improve plant reliability and uptime.
• Oversee capital projects and plant upgrades with a focus on safety and compliance.
