Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Nursing Associate to join its Outpatients team. This role involves providing essential nursing care, leading junior staff, and ensuring excellent patient experiences in a rapidly growing clinic. Full training and Band 5 training opportunities are offered to advance your clinical skills in a supportive NHS environment.
An exciting opportunity to join the Outpatients team has arisen. You will have supervisory and clinical roles under the supervision of senior staff.
Outpatients is rapidly expanding and providing more invasive procedures in clinic to our patients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursing Associate who wants to progress clinically and expand their current role.
We offer full training and the opportunity to undertake Band 5 training.
You will need to be able to organise and prioritise effectively, demonstrate sound clinical skills, and possess excellent communication skills to meet the following duties:

To provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of a senior nurse, undertaking routine and specific tasks, including but not limited to patient observations, ECGs, venepuncture, urinalysis, ENT suction, Tristell cleaning, chaperoning, biopsies, and requesting investigations via ICE.
Prepare and replenish the clinical environment for procedures.
Organise junior staff, undertake safety huddles, and organize breaks.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
