Fife Council is seeking an exceptional strategic leader to take on the Chief Officer role, shaping and delivering the workforce strategy, leading organisational transformation and ensuring the workforce, leadership capability and culture to meet future challenges.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within a large, complex and publicly accountable organisation.
• Strong track record of leading workforce strategy, organisational development and transformational change.
• Experience advising senior executives or equivalent governing bodies.
• Ability to build relationships, influence decision-making and provide strategic challenge at high levels.
• Experience leading employee relations, partnerships and organisational change in complex environments.
• Outstanding communication, influencing and negotiation skills with sound judgement.

Responsabilités

• Lead a multidisciplinary HR service of ~124 employees and manage an ~£8m budget.
• Provide strategic leadership across workforce planning, employee relations, health and safety.
• Drive workforce transformation, digital HR and people analytics.
• Advise Elected Members and senior leaders on workforce matters.
