Job summary

ISS is seeking a strategic People & Culture leader to align people strategy with business objectives. You will work closely with Managing Directors and senior leaders to shape talent development, coaching, succession planning and leadership capability across the organisation.

You will lead data-driven insights to identify risks and opportunities, drive workforce planning, and manage employee relations and organisational change.

Qualifications

• Well-rounded HR generalist across multiple disciplines.
• In-depth knowledge of employment law, TUPE and organisational change.
• Experience operating in unionised environments and frontline delivery.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver people strategies and plans across a large business.
• Strong talent development, coaching and succession planning experience.
• Excellent data analytics capability, translating insight into action.
• Commercial awareness with strong business acumen.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders effectively.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to manage complexity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement People & Culture strategies and annual plans aligned to business objectives.
• Identify People & Culture gaps, risks and potential solutions across the business.
• Lead workforce capability and resource planning activities within the sector/business unit.
• Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development and talent pipelines.
• Support People & Culture management across the commercial lifecycle.
• Use people data, analytics and insight to identify risks, trends and opportunities.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, employment law, organisational change, and trade union engagement.
• Lead, coach and develop People & Culture team members; contribute to leadership meetings.
