Join Our Client as a Team Chief Operating Officer!

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the financial services industry? Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a passionate and skilled Team Chief Operating Officer for a 4-month contract to cover paternity leave. This fully office-based role is located in London, working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with some out-of-hours work.

About the Role:

As a key member of the Global Liquidity Management (GLM) Team, you will provide COO support while engaging in daily liquidity management processes. You will work with the International Legal Entity team, managing liquidity requirements for international subsidiaries and branches. The role involves collaboration with senior Treasury, Risk, and Global Markets trading heads across London, Paris, Dublin, New York, and Charlotte.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage cross-functional, global projects focusing on regulatory compliance and internal governance.
2. Track and manage the team’s workload, develop and update project plans, and escalate risks as needed.
3. Prepare impactful presentation materials for management and stakeholders.
4. Support the annual documentation process with accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Create liquidity dashboards and forecasts to support funding and liquidity decisions.
6. Monitor liquidity risks related to the firm’s activities.

About You:

• Previous experience in a COO role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong time management skills to meet SLAs and deadlines.
• Energetic, self-motivated, with intellectual curiosity.
• Basic understanding of investment banking products (preferred).
