Join Our Client as a Team Chief Operating Officer!

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the financial services industry? Our client, a leading financial institution, is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Team Chief Operating Officer for a 4-month to cover paternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fully office-based role in London, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with out-of-hours work.

About the Role:

As a vital member of the Global Liquidity Management (GLM) Team, you will provide essential COO support while engaging in the daily liquidity management processes. The International Legal Entity team, which you will be part of, is responsible for managing the liquidity requirements of the organisation’s international subsidiaries and branches. This position will allow you to collaborate with senior Treasury, Risk, and Global Markets trading heads across multiple locations, including London, Paris, Dublin, New York, and Charlotte.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional, global projects focusing on regulatory compliance and internal governance.
  • Track and manage the team’s overall book of work, developing and updating project plans, while identifying and escalating risks.
  • Prepare impactful materials for presentations to management and stakeholders.
  • Support the annual documentation process with precision.
  • Produce key liquidity dashboards and forecasts to facilitate day-to-day funding and liquidity decisions.
  • Monitor liquidity risks related to the firm’s business activities.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a COO position.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Thrives under pressure and can manage multiple projects seamlessly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong time management abilities to meet SLAs and deadlines.
  • Energetic and self-motivated with a strong intellectual curiosity.
  • Ideally has a basic understanding of investment banking products.
