Places Leisure, part of Places for People, is seeking a Head of Operational Optimisation to drive data-led management of resources and costs across a multi-site leisure portfolio. You will optimize labour planning, scheduling, and budgeting, partnering with senior leaders to safeguard the customer experience and deliver strategic cost-saving initiatives.

Travel to leisure sites is expected 2–3 days per week, with a focus on building practical models and insights that inform investment decisions

Qualifications

• Significant experience in labour planning, workforce management, and operational performance within a multi-site organisation.
• Forecasting operational demand and translating it into practical labour plans, hours and costs.
• Experience analysing labour and non-labour P&L performance and turning findings into action plans.
• Practical use of DILO, time and motion studies or equivalent to assess activity, capacity and efficiency.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills to build models and reporting for decision-making.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of smarter, data-led ways to manage resources and costs across Places Leisure.
• Improve labour planning, scheduling and forecasting to ensure right people and resources.
• Identify efficiencies, reduce avoidable spend and develop robust cost models for investment decisions.
