Job summary

The Public Service Ombudsman is seeking a Head of Cyber Security to lead our security strategy and protect digital services. The role combines chief information security responsibilities with strategic delivery across architecture, engineering, product and delivery teams.

You will drive security capability, oversee incidents and vulnerabilities, and ensure security-by-design in new services while communicating clearly with senior leaders and the Board.

Qualifications

• Confident in balancing cyber risks, organisational priorities and available resources.
• Experienced in building effective security capabilities and holding suppliers to account.
• Skilled at creating ownership and driving improvements across organisational boundaries.
