Leonardo UK Ltd is seeking a Vice President for Strategic Government Commercial & Finance to set the strategy for Government contracting and accounting across Leonardo UK and its subsidiaries. You will lead engagement with UK Government and MoD, shaping policy, and ensuring compliant, profitable operations.

The role requires extensive defence industry experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to influence public policy and statutory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Represent Leonardo UK and the wider Group on commercial and financial matters with UK government, regional bodies and trade groups.
• Develop and implement a framework of engagement with UK Government on financial/economic policy.
• Review and influence legislation, statutory guidance and contractual matters to optimise LUK's position for UK Defence.
• Provide direction and define policy to ensure compliance with Government statutes and practices in the UK.
• Support Company-wide interaction with UK MoD and other government agencies.
• Define, implement, support and communicate changes to the LUK finance and commercial teams across the UK.
