Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to shape the financial strategy for London’s housing association. As a member of the Executive Team, you will lead treasury, funding, budgeting and financial governance to support residents and the organisation’s long-term sustainability.
You will report to the Board, drive transformational change and partner with external stakeholders to restore regulatory compliance and strengthen governance.
A home provides the basis for a stable and healthy society, but the capital's housing crisis means that for too many Londoners a home is out of reach. Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) are a not-for-profit registered provider of social housing, regulated by government. Founded in the 1960s to address slum conditions in west London, we're now one of London's largest charitable housing associations and a leading advocate and trusted partner to local councils and government, giving Londoners from all backgrounds and walks of life a base and community from which to achieve their potential. We are both a landlord and a developer, with more than 66,000 existing homes and 2,440 more in our pipeline over the next five years, and a well-established commercial business from which we reinvest surpluses to support the provision of below market-rent homes across the capital. Powered by over £1bn of investment into our homes over the next ten years, we're on a mission to improve how we deliver even better quality homes, services and communities for our 130,000 residents. We are committed to returning to regulatory compliance and being able to build even more new affordable homes in the future. To build trust and reputation with our residents and wider society, we will continue to simplify and transform how we are organised and how we work. We are entering a pivotal period in our journey as we develop the strategy that will succeed Better Together. With a clear focus on customer outcomes, safe and quality homes, financial resilience and stronger governance, the Chief Financial Officer will play a central role in shaping NHG's next chapter.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of one of London's largest housing associations. Combining strategic influence, financial leadership and genuine social impact, the role offers the chance to help improve outcomes for over 130,000 residents and position NHG for long-term success. We know that diverse leadership leads to stronger decision-making and better outcomes for our residents. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and are committed to building an Executive Team that reflects the communities we serve.
