Soho Housing, a Central London social housing provider, seeks an experienced Finance Director to join the Executive Team on a part‑time basis. You will lead financial strategy, governance and corporate services, ensuring resilience and long‑term success while collaborating closely with the CEO and Board.

The role requires a qualified accountant with senior leadership in social housing, strong regulatory know‑how and a pragmatic, values‑driven leadership style.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with senior finance leadership experience in the social housing sector.
• Extensive experience across financial management, risk, governance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation's financial strategy, planning and performance management.

We're now looking for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Director to join our Executive Team on a part-time basis. This is a broad and influential leadership role, offering the opportunity to help shape the future direction of the organisation while working closely with the Chief Executive, Board and senior stakeholders.

Job Description

As Finance Director, you will provide strategic leadership across finance, governance, risk and corporate services, ensuring Soho Housing remains financially resilient, well-governed and positioned for long-term success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the organisation's financial strategy, planning and performance management.
• Overseeing risk management, governance, regulatory compliance and company secretarial functions.
