Job summary
Eaton Group's Wimborne site in the UK is seeking a Chief Engineer to provide technical leadership across Air-to-Air Refuelling systems, hose & drogue, probes and actuation products. You will sign off technical solutions and guide multi-programme efforts with a focus on safety, reliability, and cost objectives.
You will mentor engineers, collaborate with customers and suppliers, and ensure governance reviews and compliance with engineering standards across global programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 10 years of aerospace or high-tech experience with new product development and sustaining support.
- 5 years experience in mechanical or electrical actuation components and/or systems.
- ITAR controlled technology access requires eligibility for security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical authority for AAR and Actuation products across the business.
- Lead complex programmes, ensuring technical completeness and delivery to requirements.
- Develop technology roadmaps, innovations, and strategic engineering activities.
- Review and approve technical solutions while maintaining design integrity.
