We are currently looking for an unlimited Chief Engineer for a permanent position with our client based in Orkney.

Salary and Benefits: Competitive Salary + Pension Scheme

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Seagoing Chief Engineer to join our team. You will provide technical support to the vessel and shoreside team by managing daily operations of the engineering department, defect management, class compliance, surveys, and vessel planned maintenance.

Requirements:

1. A Chief Engineer 3000kW or more
2. Trained to SCTW 95 standard
3. Currently hold or able to achieve an ENG1 medical certificate
4. Strong knowledge of industry rules and regulations
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
6. Ability to manage and lead teams effectively

Certificates in Designated Security Duties and Crowd Management are desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
