Qualifications

  • Hold a UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 License.
  • 5+ years of experience as a licensed engineer in aviation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform line and base maintenance of helicopters to meet UK CAA standards.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain for maintenance materials and spare parts.
  • Report daily maintenance status to the Chief Engineer.

Job Title: Helicopter B1.3 Engineer

The Helicopter B1.3 Engineer is responsible for the maintenance (line and base) of helicopters. He/she works within a team of engineers and reports to the Chief Engineer.

The Helicopter B1.3 Engineer is responsible for the maintenance (line and base) of helicopters. He/she works in a team of engineers and reports to the Chief Engineer.

Responsibilities & Areas
Line Maintenance
  • Comply with the requirements as described in the regulations;
  • Ensure all line maintenance tasks meet UK CAA and M.O.E. standards;
  • Participate in work planning and rosters based on business needs;
  • Complete maintenance within designated time frames to ensure aircraft readiness;
  • Perform daily problem analysis and resolution based on pilot and operational data;
  • Brief and debrief pilots and the Chief Engineer;
  • Perform preflight checks (PRF);
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Store, and Support Services to ensure availability of maintenance materials and spare parts;
  • Report daily maintenance status to the Chief Engineer.
Base Maintenance
  • Comply with regulatory requirements;
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks meet UK CAA and M.O.E. standards;
  • Participate in work planning and rosters based on business needs;
  • Complete maintenance within designated time frames to ensure aircraft readiness;
  • Brief and debrief the Chief Engineer; report daily on maintenance status;
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Store, and Support Services for necessary materials and spare parts;
  • Participate in daily morning briefing (toolbox meeting).
Experience
  • UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 License;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant aviation experience as a licensed engineer (preferred);
  • Experience in different aviation companies is a plus.
Skills
  • ICT literacy (aviation software & MS Office);
  • Proficiency in English (professional level);
  • Knowledge of company procedures and processes (operational, quality, safety);
  • Good communication skills for debriefings and handovers;
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative;
  • Logical thinking.
