Job summary

Oxford Brookes University in Headington, Oxford, is seeking a Head of Development and Alumni Engagement to lead the Development and Alumni Relations Team, shape fundraising strategy and expand our global alumni network. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement, you will build major gifts programs, manage donor stewardship, and partner with senior leaders to align initiatives with university priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in major gift fundraising within higher education or non-profit sectors.
• Experience leading and developing staff to deliver fundraising and alumni engagement goals.
• Excellent stakeholder relationship skills with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Development and Alumni Relations Team to deliver fundraising and alumni engagement goals.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy focusing on major gifts and partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth donors, alumni, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee alumni programs to increase engagement and lifelong connections with the University.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align initiatives with university priorities.
