2 Sisters Food Group is hiring Production Operatives - Hangers in Coupar Angus. The role runs dayshift Monday to Friday 6:20am-3:20pm, with backshift Sunday 11:30am-8:30pm and Mon-Thu 3:20pm-12:20am. Hourly rate £13.83 rising to £14.83 after training, plus a £50 weekly backshift allowance.

You will work in live bird handling and processing areas, handling live poultry safely and on the production line. This is a physical, repetitive role requiring good manual handling, concentration and

Qualifications

• Comfortable working within a slaughter and processing environment
• Physically capable of carrying out repetitive manual work
• Able to work safely and consistently at production pace
• Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping
• Able to follow instructions and established procedures
• A good team player
• Committed to maintaining high standards of animal welfare

Responsibilities

• Safely handling live poultry.
• Placing birds correctly and securely onto the production line.
• Working at the required production pace while maintaining animal welfare standards.
• Following established live bird handling and animal welfare procedures.
• Monitoring birds and reporting any welfare concerns immediately.
• Following strict health & safety, hygiene and biosecurity procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure the production line operates effectively.
• Following all site procedures, training and instructions.
