Job summary

Red Star Poultry is hiring for hands-on chicken catching teams. This role requires physical fitness, reliability and a real respect for animal welfare, while working within strict welfare and biosecurity guidelines. Full training is provided from day one.

Based from our Shropshire hub, we operate locally and nationwide. Transport to sites and hotel accommodation for overnight jobs are provided. We offer competitive pay, on-the-job training and real career progression within a growing company.

Job description

We're looking for physically fit and reliable individuals to join our chicken catching teams. This is hands-on, active work that requires care, stamina and a genuine respect for animal welfare — and it pays accordingly.

You'll be working safely within the strict guidelines of the RSPCA and Red Tractor Assurance Schemes, with full training provided from day one.

Based out of our Telford, Shropshire hub, we operate locally and nationwide. Some overnight stays will be required for distant sites — transport and hotel accommodation are fully provided by us.
