Job summary

Randstad Education is actively seeking qualified Maths Teachers for immediate and upcoming opportunities in Chester. We partner with local secondary schools and academies to place teachers directly into classrooms across various postcodes.

Applicants should hold QTS or QTLS (ECTs/NQTs welcome) and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject, with a proven track record in UK Secondary Maths. An Enhanced DBS (Update Service) is preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS (ECTs/NQTs welcome)
• Degree level qualification in Mathematics or a related subject
• Proven track record of teaching Maths within the UK National Curriculum at Secondary level
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Grade coursework, track pupil progress, and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain high standards of pupil behaviour and a focused learning environment
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations
• Collaborate with secondary Maths departments to support curriculum goals
