Academics is seeking a passionate Secondary Maths Teacher for a long-term placement in the Chester area, starting September. The role suits both fully qualified teachers and Early Career Teachers seeking a rewarding placement within a supportive school environment.

You will deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3/KS4 (with potential KS5), monitor progress, provide feedback, and work with the Maths department to meet curriculum goals in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics (or related field).
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT) or working towards.
• Experience teaching the UK Mathematics curriculum at secondary level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and engage: plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities).
• Monitor student progress, mark work, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Maths department to support curriculum goals.
