Job summary

Sciensus in Scotland is seeking a registered Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver high-quality oncology care and support patients through their treatment journey while contributing to the development of our field-based clinical workforce.

You will administer chemotherapy, travel across the Dundee region, and help educate and mentor other clinicians, raising standards and embedding best practice across services.

Qualifications

• Be registered with the NMC.
• Hold a chemotherapy delivery qualification - preferably a SACT passport.
• Be experienced administering oncology medications in a hospital or community setting.
• Be confident in clinical assessment, IV administration, chemotherapy delivery, cannulation, and phlebotomy.
• Passionate about person-centred care and supporting others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality oncology care to patients receiving chemotherapy.
• Support and develop other clinicians to raise standards across services.
• Travel throughout a regional area (Dundee and surrounding areas) to administer treatments.
• Maintain professional standards and contribute to ongoing education and development of the clinical workforce.

Job description

Our team within the Scotland are seeking a registered 'Chemotherapy Nurse' to deliver high-quality oncology care, support patients through their treatment journey, and contribute to the ongoing development of our field-based clinical workforce.

This role is a unique blend of hands-on patient care and clinical development. You’ll work directly with patients receiving chemotherapy while also supporting and developing other clinicians—helping to raise standards, build confidence, and embed best practice across services.

It’s an ideal opportunity for nurses who enjoy variety, autonomy, and the chance to influence both patient outcomes and clinical capability.

Working autonomously you will administer a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments, as defined in the patient’s care plan whilst sustaining professional standards.

A full UK driving licence is essential as you will travel throughout a regional area (covering Dundee and surrounding areas).
