About The R&D Team
Based within the technical division of the business, The R&D Team are responsible for formulating products and seeing them through from concept to the factory whilst also ensuring all testing elements required for the PIF are carried out.
Chemist
Reporting to Senior chemist/ Technical Manager/Head of R&D the Chemist will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and have at least three years’ experience in a relevant product development role. They will be responsible for taking product briefs from concept through to completion working closely with the relevant teams associated with those projects. They will be required to delegate work to Laboratory Technicians and Junior Chemists and oversee their training.
The position requires compliance with company policy including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH).

Must keep on top of new developments within the industry.
