Job summary

VerifyUs is seeking a Chemical Process Instrument Technician to join a maintenance, repair and commissioning team responsible for sensors, electrical and electronic chemical process equipment and instruments.

The role covers instrument maintenance, installation, commissioning and coordination with other engineers, with emphasis on keeping spares and tools stock ready for production needs.

Qualifications

• Instrumented Systems experience in a refinery, chemical or allied industry.
• Apprenticeship or traineeship scheme.
• City and Guilds, ONC, HNC or other qualifications in relevant subject.
• Hazardous area equipment training CompEx or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Instrument maintenance and repair.
• Production critical inspection and repairs.
• Installation and commissioning, equipment review.
• Order and manage spares and equipment from suppliers maintaining adequate economic stores of materials, equipment and tools.
• Liaise with instrument, electrical and other specialist engineers.
