Job summary

VerifyUs is seeking a Chemical Process Instrument Technician to join a maintenance, repair and commissioning team responsible for sensors, electrical and electronic chemical process equipment and instruments.

The role covers instrument maintenance and repair, installation and commissioning, and close collaboration with instrument, electrical and other specialist engineers to ensure production reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with instrumented systems in refinery or chemical industries.
• Completing an apprenticeship or traineeship.
• Qualified with City & Guilds, ONC, HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Hazardous area equipment training CompEx or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Instrument maintenance and repair.
• Production critical inspection and repairs.
• Installation and commissioning, equipment reviews.
• Order and manage spares and equipment from suppliers, maintaining adequate stores of materials.
• Liaise with instrument, electrical and other specialist engineers.
