Job summary

Proman Recruitment, on behalf of a client in South Wigston, is seeking a Chemical Operative with Forklift Counterbalance and Reach licences. The role is Monday to Friday, with a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per day and two shift options (06:00-14:00 or 08:00-16:00).

The position is temporary to permanent; the starting pay is £15.65 per hour (£17.53 rolled up). Upon permanent hire the salary is £28,485 rising to £29,293 with training.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Forklift Counterbalance and Reach licences (current).
• Over 21 years old.
• Minimum 6 months forklift experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check (paid back after first full week).

Chemical Operative - with an FLT licence preferably Reach and a Counterbalance

Are you an experienced Chemical Operative looking for a new temporay to permanent opportunity? Proman Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a client based in South Wigston (LE18 location) , who is seeking skilled Chemical Operatives with Forklift Truck Counterbalance and Reach licences to join their team!

About the Role:

• Shift: Monday to Friday!
• Duties: Mixing Chemicals, Loading and unloading, goods in and goods out. This is a mixed role where you will be working within a small team so comfort to do various duties.
• Hours: Minimum 8 hours per day guaranteed - Either an 0600 - 1400 or a 0800 - 1600
• Temporary to permanent!
• Pay Rate: £15.65 per hour (£17.53 rolled up pay) through us when you go permament the salary is £28,485 but with successful training you can raise it to £29,293
• Start Date: Immediate start for successful candidates but will be required to attend an onsite interview and have a DBS check (this will be paid back to you after your first full week)

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Forklift Counterbalance & Reach licence (in houses and expired are not accepted)
• Must be over 21 years old
• Previous Forklift Counterbalance experience a minimum of 6 months.
• Previous precision work preferred - Ideally chemicals but not essential.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must be willing to complete a basic DBS check (this will be paid back to you after your first full week))
