Vishay Intertechnology in Newport, UK is seeking a TCM Operator to oversee, coordinate and perform maintenance on chemical dispensing machinery and gas panels on site. You will ensure uninterrupted gas and chemical supplies and support factory operations with initiative and reliability.

Qualifications

• Qualification in an engineering-related discipline.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Desire to learn and progress within chemical and gas maintenance.
• Experience working with pressurized pumps or systems.
• Desirable: chemical awareness and handling.
• Desirable: cleanroom experience.
• Desirable: understanding gas/chemical requirements.
• Desirable: experience with toxic and highly flammable gases.
• Desirable: experience of leak checking.
• Desirable: IOSHH training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on Chemical Dispensing Machinery and Spec Gas panels on site.
• Ensure gas and chemical supplies are uninterrupted to prevent downtime.
• Support the fab in any issues regarding chemicals or gases.
• Work with minimal supervision and use your initiative.
