Job summary

The Opportunity Provider Ltd is seeking a Chef Trainer to inspire and train apprentices across our Chef Academy. The role combines travel to visits with productive home-based work, offering a flexible yet structured schedule.

You will guide and develop aspiring chefs, tailor learning plans, and integrate maths and English into practical culinary training, while building employer relationships and managing administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, Head Chef, or Kitchen Manager.
• Ideally a professional culinary qualification.
• Level 2 English and Maths (or willing to achieve).
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your region.

Responsibilities

• Guide apprentices at all levels and help them develop skills and confidence in the kitchen.
• Support apprentices at our Chef Academy with hands-on training in essential techniques.
• Personalise learning plans to suit each apprentice’s needs.
• Demonstrate how maths and English fit into the culinary world.
• Build relationships with employers and update them on apprentices’ progress.
• Manage administrative tasks and plan using Google Suite and other systems.
