The Opportunity Provider Ltd is seeking a Chef Trainer in the Essex area for a hybrid role that combines home-based planning with on-site visits. You will mentor apprentices, deliver hands-on kitchen training, and tailor learning plans to individual needs, helping them grow into confident chefs.

With a starting salary of £29,000 and a range of employee benefits, this role offers travel across the region and opportunities to advance through an apprenticeship programme to become a trainer.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, Head Chef, or Kitchen Manager.
• Level 2 English and maths (or willing to achieve).
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle for regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Guide apprentices at all levels and help them develop skills and confidence in the kitchen.
• Support apprentices at the Chef Academy with hands-on training in essential techniques.
• Personalise learning plans to suit each apprentice’s needs and tools to thrive.
