We’re looking for a chef to join the small team at The Caravan Shop.
It’s a hands‑on role working closely with the rest of the team, but on many days you’ll also be responsible for running the kitchen independently — organising your prep, managing service and making sure everything leaving the kitchen is at the standard we expect.
We’re looking for someone who is confident, organised and comfortable taking responsibility for their own section of the business. You don’t need to have worked in huge kitchens or have a particular background; we’re much more interested in someone who cooks well, cares about ingredients and takes pride in doing things properly.
The food is seasonal, ingredient‑led and made from scratch, with plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas and develop alongside the business.
You’ll be joining a small, supportive team, so reliability, good communication and a positive attitude are just as important as cooking ability.
The role involves:
Experience in a similar role would be useful, but attitude and ability matter more to us than job titles.
