Job summary

Blue Arrow has exciting new Temporary Chef Manager Roles in and around Croydon, Banstead, Epsom, Crawley & Redhill. Guaranteed hours between 35 - 40 per week until at least Mid October, starting Sep 2026, with potential permanent role at the end of the temp placement.

Working days are Monday to Friday. You will lead the kitchen, train staff, and create theme days while maintaining high standards and delivering excellent service to clients and customers.

Qualifications

• Excellent craft skills and ability to manage your own kitchen.
• Proven experience in managing, training and leading a team.
• Creativity in developing theme days.
• Proven track record of continually improving standards.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for food and delivering excellent service.
• Financial and budget awareness with experience in controlling costs.
• Solid understanding of food safety, health & safety, and allergen management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a busy kitchen operation.
• Train and supervise kitchen team; ensure high standards.
• Develop and implement theme days to enhance service.
• Monitor and control food costs and budgeting.
