Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd is seeking a Chef Manager for a Primary School in London. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm, 40 hours a week, term time only (40 weeks), with a salary of £32,000 and free meals on duty.

Lead a kitchen team, manage day-to-day operations including allergens, stock and ordering, and build rapport with children, staff and parents while delivering fresh, quality meals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach to kitchen duties.
• Understanding of good food hygiene and health and safety.
• Sous chef or Chef Manager experience in education preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a kitchen team.
• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations including allergens, stock and ordering.
• Build rapport with children, staff and parents.
• Core responsibility to feed around 50 students daily.
