Job summary

Caterlink LTD is hiring a Chef Manager for Compton Primary School. The role is term-time only, 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, at £16 per hour. You will lead food preparation, uphold health and safety, and ensure exceptional standards for pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety and environmental laws.
• Maintain Caterlink's reputation for food and service and exceed client expectations.
• Manage day-to-day operations, supervise staff, inventories, budgets, and action plans.
• Be the main client contact at the school and implement improvements.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets.
• Support and train teams, lead by example, ensure training completion and performance management.
