Job summary

Caterlink Ltd. at St Paul Catholic Primary School, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, is hiring a Chef Manager for term-time work, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekends. The role pays 16.50 per hour and runs for 38 school weeks per year.

You will lead kitchen operations, ensure statutory standards are met, and drive service quality for pupils and staff. Training and development are provided in a diverse, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure location meets Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements.
• Supervise location operations, inventories and budgets.
• Be main client contact at the school and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present meals to standard.
• Maintain compliance with statutory and Caterlink policies.
• Oversee daily running of the site and manage team performance.
• Liaise with client and monitor KPIs/financial targets.
