Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd is seeking a Chef Manager to oversee primary school catering, delivering fresh meals to 280 students daily. You’ll lead a team of four, coordinate menus, and ensure safety, hygiene and stock controls in a family-oriented environment.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, term-time (40 weeks), with a £30,000 salary and free meals on duty. We value people who take pride in food quality and teamwork, and offer growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach
• Understanding of good food hygiene and health and safety
• Sous chef or Chef Manager previous experience within education (preferred not essential)

Responsibilities

• Chef Manager to core feed 280 students a day.
• Lead and motivate a team of 4.
• Build rapport with children, staff and parents.
• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including allergens, stock and ordering.
