Job description

At Gather & Gather, we are known as one of the UK & Irelands most distinctive workplace catering experts, we are passionate about great food and great coffee and putting our employees and customers at the heart of everything that we do. We are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to work with us in a lovely B&I site. This position is working Monday - Thursday from 7.30am to 5pm.

This position involves managing a team of 2.

We are looking for a chef that can deliver home made, delicious food suited to a busy construction site environment, We have a wonderful restaurant facility with a well equipped kitchen to work from.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food service
  • Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role
  • Delivering our tasty food concepts to our customers
  • Ordering food, looking after stock control and controlling food waste
  • Overseeing the efficiency of all catering operations, including managing inventories and implementing action plans
  • Managing budgets and successfully meeting financial targets
  • Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
