Job summary

Gather and Gather is recruiting a Chef Manager for Stockport to lead a team and craft menus that delight our clients and customers. The role covers early mornings with a 40-hour week from 07:00 to 15:30, based in Stockport, SK1, a short walk from the station.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong menu planning, food preparation, and team leadership skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and service excellence.

• Produce food timely for smooth service.
• Ensure dishes are presented well and 'picture perfect'.
• Develop new service styles and food concepts.

Location: Stockport, SK1, two minute walk from Stockport station
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, 07:00am - 15:30pm
Rate of Pay: £40,000 per annum depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• To invent and create menus that are in line with client and customer needs
• To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers
• To enjoy the food you produce and ensure they are ‘picture perfect’ every time
• To assist in developing and producing new service styles and food concepts
• To communicate with the relevant parties requirements for planned menus and order necessary ingredients
• Manage a team of 9
