Aspens Services is a market-leading contract caterer specialising in school food. We are seeking a Chef Manager in Southampton to take full operational and financial responsibility for the school's catering facility, driving high-quality food experiences.

You will lead a kitchen team, oversee menu development and monthly promotions, and ensure quality and compliance with health and safety standards, while driving profitability.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership to coach and inspire a kitchen team.
• Deep understanding of gross profit management and sales targets.
• Excellent craft with fresh ingredients and quality food delivery.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Financial control: manage and improve controllable costs (stock, food, labour).
• Team leadership: coach, train and inspire the kitchen team to deliver excellence.
• Culinary innovation: oversee menu development and drive promotions and events.
• Quality assurance: ensure standards and legislation are met via audits and proactive management.
