Job summary

Aspens Services is seeking an ambitious Chef Manager to take full operational and financial responsibility for a school catering facility. You will drive excellence and profitability, owning the operation with a visionary leadership style to elevate dining experiences in the region.

You will manage gross profit, lead a kitchen team, and innovate menus while ensuring top-quality ingredients and strict health and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Strong GP management understanding and strategic know-how to hit sales targets.
• Excellent craft skills with fresh ingredients to deliver quality food.
• Proven experience in line management, coaching, and inspiring teams to perform.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Financial Control: Managing and improving all controllable costs, including stock, food and labour.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, train and inspire your kitchen team to deliver excellence every day.
• Culinary Innovation: Oversee menu development and drive sales through monthly promotions and events.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure standards, systems and legislation are met through audits and proactive management.
