Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd is seeking a Chef Manager for a primary school role in Bromley, England. The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only (40 weeks), with a pay rate of £15.00 per hour and free meals on duty.

You will lead a team of four, feed around 200 students daily, and ensure allergens, stock and ordering are managed effectively. Ideal candidates will have a hands-on approach, solid food hygiene knowledge, and experience in education kitchens.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach to kitchen management.
• Understanding of good food hygiene and health and safety.
• Experience as sous chef or chef manager in education (preferred, not essential).

Responsibilities

• Chef Manager to core feed 200 students a day.
• Lead and motivate a team of 4.
• Build rapport with children, staff and parents.
• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including allergens, stock and ordering.
