Job Title: Chef Manager

As Chef Manager, you will have full operational and financial responsibility for your school's catering facility. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service, demonstrating creative flair and originality to make a positive impact in the school catering industry.

Main Responsibilities
  • Managing the team to ensure a consistently excellent dining experience for students and staff, adhering to company standards
  • Leading the preparation of delicious, nutritious meals using fresh, sustainable ingredients; overseeing menu development
  • Providing support and guidance to team members
  • Leading, developing, coaching, and training staff positively and effectively
  • Managing all aspects of the catering operation, including stock, food, and labor costs
  • Controlling and improving all controllable costs
  • Driving sales through promotions and value-added events
  • Building positive relationships with clients and customers
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Conducting regular audits to maintain standards
Ideal Candidate

We seek someone passionate about maintaining high standards of food and service, with the following qualities:

  • A positive leader who fosters teamwork
  • Experience managing a team
  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
  • OND or HND qualification (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety practices in a kitchen environment
  • Financial understanding of gross profit management and sales target achievement
