We’re looking for a hands-on Chef Manager to lead a high-quality catering service for patients, staff, and visitors within a healthcare environment—one of ISS’s flagship contract areas.

Job Description

In this role, you'll take ownership of meal planning, ordering, preparation, and delivery, ensuring all food hygiene standards and safety regulations are met.

You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and compliant kitchen environment and providing day-to-day leadership to the catering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans, prepares and delivers food services in line with specification
  • Maintains clean and hygienic kitchens and catering areas
  • Leads and supports kitchen staff to meet service standards
  • Responds quickly to service needs and seeks improvements
  • Contributes to menu development to support sales
  • Works in line with health, safety, and infection control policies
  • Comfortable working in sensitive and challenging environments

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing teams in a busy environment
  • Healthcare sector experience desirable but not essential
  • Holds a valid Food Hygiene Qualification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
