Position Details

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Chef Lecturer. The role involves classroom teaching, tutorial work, outreach duties, and student welfare responsibilities. We offer benefits including 50 days annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays, and regular training and development.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and tutorial duties, including outreach and student placements
• Organisational and administrative tasks, marking, and student support
• Acting as a Personal Tutor and providing pastoral care
• Contributing to team-based learning and teaching approaches
• Implementing student-centred learning programs and induction procedures
• Setting and assessing assignments, providing feedback for student development
• Organising work placements

Skills and Experience

• Effective communication with diverse audiences
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with IT tools (ECDL or equivalent)
• Industry experience and knowledge
