Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Royston is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our busy kitchen. You will prepare, present, and serve meals to the highest standards, following established recipes and food safety rules. A valid DBS is required.

Working hours are 7am to 3pm/3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with weekend/holiday flexibility as needed. You will be part of a supportive team and have access to training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a chef or a lead cook.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and assembly of meals according to recipes and standards.
• Cook to correct temperature, taste and presentation.
• Kitchen assistance and utensil sanitation.
