Job summary

KLONDYKE GROUP LIMITED in Holland Arms Garden Centre is seeking a Part Time Permanent Chef to join our restaurant team. The role offers 32 hours per week across 4 days, with weekend working but no evening shifts or split shifts. The centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day to spend time with family.

Pay is £13.27 per hour, with benefits and staff discounts. You’ll support all areas of food production, preparing fresh ingredients for the full menu and maintaining high

• Experience in food production and kitchen hygiene.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Chef to join the team in our Restaurant in Holland Arms Garden Centre.

Our competitive rate for the role is £13.27 per hour.

The hours for this role are 32 per week over 4 days. All positions include weekend working so flexibility is a must. However we have the added benefit of no evening work and no split shifts. Our Centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day which means time with the family on these important days.

The Role

As a Chef, you will support all areas of food production and cleaning in the kitchen. You will work at part of a small team under the guidance of your Head Chef/Restuarant Manager and be responsible for the preparation of our fresh ingredients for our full menu range.

What you will be doing as a Chef?

• Prepare fresh ingredients
• Prepare hot and cold food orders to order
• Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process
• Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
