Klondyke is seeking a Full Time Permanent Chef for our restaurant at Astbury Meadow Garden Centre. The role offers a competitive pay rate of £13.27 per hour and a 40-hour week over five days, with weekends required but no evenings or split shifts.

You will be part of a small kitchen team, preparing fresh ingredients for our full menu, while maintaining hygiene standards and supporting efficient service. Benefits include annual leave and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen or as a chef.
• Understanding of food hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients for the menu.
• Cook hot and cold dishes to order.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.
• Minimise waste and maintain efficiency.
• Clean and sanitise equipment and work areas daily.
• Close down the kitchen and prep for the next day.
